Hoover HNV380 Door Seal?

Hi,
There seems to be a leak of air coming from the door of my Hoover HNV 380 tumble dryer.

The door seal/gasket looks ok, but that must be the only place it is leaking from, unless the front panel is buckled in some way.
I did lift the front to grease the pulley wheels to stop the machine screaming like a banshee.
The screeching has stopped and It all fitted back together ok and I cannot see any warping. So my conclusion is the door seal/gasket must be allowing air past.

Is the fitting of the gasket as simple as just pulling the old one out and pressing the new one in? or is it more complicated than that?

Your help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Hi Mervyn
Unless you have a dual purpose tumble dryer, toilets is the wrong section don't you think?
Anyway look for replies under catagory 'household appliances' sub heading 'Tumble dryers' I don't normally do it but I copied and pasted it in the correct sections so you have two places to look as well as not having to move it.
