How to tune the Hitachi TV CLE-876H
You can tune from TV if you have lost remote by pressing and holding left button on TV front panel which lets you into the tune menu then use other buttons to select.
Using the remote…..
1/ On remote press and hold menu/index (ignore that the 'sound' box appears)
2/ Prog index box appears but with an extra box at bottom
3/ Press menu/index button a second time -installation box appears
4/ Use up/down (prog select) arrows on remote to select 'tune'
5/ Use left/right (volume) arrows to start auto tune
6/ Select 'fine tune' if needed and repeat 5/
7/ When picture tuned use up/down arrows to select program number
8/ Use up/down to select STORE
9/ Press store/hold button on remote to store this prog on this number
10/ Repeat 4/ to 9/ to select tune and store all other programs
11/ Press TV button on remote to return to normal. Your done.
Note - sometimes pressing and holding the menu/index button on the remote does not always work first time - but ok on second or third and very easy to tune. ‘Fine tune’ may not be required in good signal areas.
