My cd player has all jammed up with 2 discs in. How do I get them out? With the top off, the disc carrier is stuck in the middle of the unit, it's trying to move but it can't, display shows "wait"

Is there anything I can do with it??? losing the head unit is bad enough but the discs are good!!!!
