panasonic cd stereo system sapm18 5cd player everything working but cannot access cd trays they wont open wont play

cds will not play, radio/tape working
I have a Sharp system stero, and I can not get the CD player to open. I pushed the button where it says open, and it won't open. Please let me know how I can fix it.
