My dryer works for a few loads and then just stops working. After waiting a few hours it works again. Is it cheap and easy to fix? What do I do to fix it?

Hello,
When you say it stops working, does the whole dryer shut off? If the dryer shuts down, it could be the motor going bad, shutting off on its overload only to go on again once it cools down.
