HI my temp display is flashing on the freezer side what does that mean?

I have been following a similar problem on forums to get my Whirlpool to stop the temp flashing. Seems to be something to do with the electronics behind the dispaly panel - known as the 'board'
If you are electronically minded can be fixed for pennies - if not go to the manufacturer service team and for around £150 - hey presto!
