My washing machine keeps stopping mid cycle. Is it worth repairing - it's about 5 years old, a zanussi jet system FJS1425w. I don't want a call out charge to be told it's unrepairable.

Nothing is unrepairable. Anything can be replaced and repaired depends how much you have to spend. Only you can tell if it is worth repairing or not. It depends on the overall condition of the machine & how much you have spent on repairs in the past and the cost of the current repair against the cost of a new machine.
