my Husqvarna 350 chainsaw has spark, but won't fire. ?

The saw got really hot when I was operating it, and it died. I haven't been able to start it since then. It has spark. How do I check if it's getting fuel to the cylinder?
Dave, June 2009
mine does the same thing, and the local dealer will tell me that it's fine, I will take it home and use it for 5-15 minutes, and it happens all over again. Ihave good fuel, good clean plug, and every time I take it in, they swear they don't see anything wrong, but it willstart once or twice when I leave, then all over the cycle starts

Mine has done the same thing I have changed the piston ring and it still wont fire. No spark or nothing.

I fully agree , this machine has seized.

Flywheel key may have sheared.

By now you may already be aware that it sounds like the piston may have scored the cylinder, very easily done. If you have'nt as yet, it may be worth taking the saw in for a check up. They will be able to clarifiy the situation.
