Diplomat integrated DISHWASHER ADP 8332?

My dishwaser has a red light that looks a bit like a star or snowflake constantly on. It won't start and no matter what I try can't get rid of this light. I have no manual and I am not sure what the light means or whats wrong with it. I have triied pressing the on/off button loads of times after each other. It will not let me choose a program as the red light seems to jam the other buttons. Can anyone help

Hi Lisa, you may have a couple of faults. The snowflake usually means that the rinse aid needs topping up.On these models the red lights are salt and rinse aid and the green lights are the prog lights. It may be that the door lock is faulty so will not let you select a prog.I think an engineer visit may be best.Glen Dimplex / Stoves engineers repair these appliances now.
