How can a laptop with built in wireless stop recieving signals?

I have a desktop computer and a laptop, how can I hook-up the laptop and computer to one modem?

Wireless Router connected to 'phone line or cable will "talk" to the internet to and from a service provider.

Wireless card (and device driver S/W) in computer(s) and make local area (in your house) network connection to the router from each computer.

My router handles 7 PCs but seldom more than 4 at any time.

If laptop has stopped "talking" wirelessly use Control; Panel - Network Connections - Right Click on the Wireless Icon and select View Available Networks - should see your Router (maybe others too) and connect to it.

Good luck...
