Could I use an AV sender with an analogue TV?

Hi, we currently have a tilevision TV in our bathroom which is analogue and with it being their earliest model (5 years old) have been told it cannot be upgraded. Also with it being tiled in - AND in a bathroom, its not as easy as buying a digibox and hey presto!. We have been told that with us having a digital tv in our bedroom, we should be able to use a wireless AV sender/receiver scart and it will work. However, we are now in a catch 22 situation. The telly is useless if we dont do anything, but its a big and expensive job taking out the telly, having to get an electrician and tiler to patch things back up if at the end of it, it doesnt work. I have been researching this for a week now and spoken to other experts who tell me it wont work, so am totally confused. Would be great if someone can give me a straight yes or no answer! Thanks
