my boiler would not give hot water so i fitted a new dom hot water sensor i can now get hot water but i have to juggle with hot tap to turn the flow down to get hot water once its struck up it seems o.k.
its a ferroli optama 701 about 6 yrs old
think ive found the problem ,the flow meter was asembled the wrong way round, the flow restricter was asembled on the inlet side with the filter and the small O ring had come adrift inside the flow meter and jaming the wheel. Thanks "ferroli eng"

were about would this diafram be located or is it the flowmeter that just wants cleaning
peter.s., July 2009
its more than likely the flow switch as this causes the boiler to fire up in hot water to begin with take it apart and clean the components

how you going to change the diaphragm on this boiler it don't have a diverter valve.

Hot water Diaphragm - fit a new one!
Should be done by a RGI, (Registered Gas Installer)
