Hotpoint Ultima WT741?

I have a hotpoint ultima WT741 washing machine and the all display keeps on flashing.

Then it settles down. Sometimes it flashes during the cycle and you can not utilise any of the buttons whilst this is happening

mind it doesnt burn out the electric coil at the back inside on the right hand side, mine did, actually caught fire!
