Hi Caroline, it could be in a test mode and E9 means it needs a user to operate it further.Try turning the machine on a running a programme.When the machine stops, press the P button with a spoon handle with the door closed and see if this resarts it.If it does it will stop again in a few mins.Do the same and when the prog finishes,it will exit the test prog.If this is not the cause, you may need a new pcb.
