everytime toilet flush i have to push bar down to fill cystern up abit more then will flush if left to fill on its own it wont flush

bend the float arm slightly upwards this will allow more water into the tank will need to check the water height after as may overflow.( Hint most tanks have a recommended height mark inside them) if not set about a inch below the overflow pipe.
