Have you tried adjusting with the FN key and corrisponding brightness key. although an obvious solution some people dont realise. Althernativly there are a few brand of laptops that have minor power issues on the motherboard, also could be the invertor or backlight going in the screen, if this is the case wed be happy to give u a quote for a repair, you can find the web address below. hope this helps
