Bosch Max Dishwasher not draining fully after wash?

Our 5 year old Bosch Max leaves about 2cm high of dirty dish water after each wash. We have removed, by hand, and cleaned the filters but still the water is not been pumped out after each wash. Any ideas on how to rectify the problem would be appreciated.

also check the drain hose under the sink the hole could be blocked there to.

It might be this... but then again it might not be...

In the very bottom of the internal sump, under the filters, you may find a single Torx screw. If you remove it you get access to the impeller of the drain pump. Sometimes crud gets trapped under the blades. Tweezers may help in the removal. The impeller blades should move freely but with a bit of magnetic resistance.

It worked for me on my Bosch DW

Good luck...
