HOW DO I FIX MY COMBI BOILER?

I have a VAILLANT 242 eh combi boiler installed, and is approx 12 years old. Water and heating working But pressure keeps dropping I fill the loop on a daily basis sometimes more regular I have re filled the expansion vessel to the VAILLANT specs, I have checked for leaks and can't find any. I have spoken to a plumber about It and all he could come up with was i need a new expansion vessel, he would not advise me on how to do the job, so i would appreciate any advice you can give me.

Look for leak on the pipe from the Pressure Relief Valve, this is the 15mm or 22mm copper pipe on your outside wall. Also if expansion vessel is in need of recharge you will see pressure on gauge ramp up quickly when you run boiler on central heating.
Expansion vessel needs to be recharged with boiler at zero pressure, ie close both flow and return isolation valves, open up the drain cocks( 10mm spanner) then check recharge vessel.

The pressure vessel is split into 2 parts, 1 being the air side and the other being the water side from the boiler. The 2 parts are held apart by a rubber diaphragm which distorts, compressing the air side when the boiler is hot. Your system is losing water from somewhere, its as simple as that. The problem is, finding the leak! If its from the expansion vessel it should be obvious.
