Renault Laguna Priviledge elecric widow repair?

RENAULT LAGUNA II DCI PRIVILEDGE SPORTS TOURER: front passenger side electric window not working, but motor still working. Having removed all the door trim etc., the problem appears to be a broken cable. I think I could fix it myself with the aid of a diagram of how the whole thing works. Anyone agree / have such a diagram, or should I just throw money at it in the local Renault Dealers? Thanks, R H

done
you can repair the cable using bicycle gear cable, i have did this before a few times to various lagunas, i have no diagram, but its fairly straight forward when you sit and think about it. cable cost me £2 and 1 hours fiddle, where renault charge £150. good luck

Hi, I Have broken cable on drivers side too, hav`nt tried to repair cable yet but took trim off yesterday, there are two screws at the bottom of the trim, and one at the door opening handle, thats all the screws the rest are just pull off clips and double sided sticky tape you don`t have to take the large pull handle off. hope this helps.
