Bosch WFB 2005 washing machine - doesn't spin?

My Bosch washing machine is progressing through the cycle (filling, pumping out, etc), but will not spin. The belt is fine, and is still securely located on the drum and motor.

From what I have read I guess it must be the motor bushes (which have never been replaced). The machine is 6-7 years old. Any advice gratefully received. Thanks.

Hi

This is a diy guess but,

you may have a blockage which is not allowing total drainage even though the drum may appear to be empty. If this is the case the drum won't spin. Try the fliter AND ADJACENT PIPES for blockages, small coins etc. before inspecting brushes.
