Grrr. I hate the Big Ben tune but I can't remove the bell push front from its back. It's stuck and I don't wish to break the whole thing either.

Thanks to Phil from another person who tried his instructions and for whom they worked.

Phil's instructions worked like a charm (avoided the obvious pun!)

Thanks!

I took out the battery and re fitted it as per Phil's instructions......fantastic! It was driving me mad and my cat hated it when it was the turn of the dog bark!!
Thanks

Thanks Bill. Mine had the same problem. Your instructions fixed it.

I wonder if the problem could be the battery voltage starting to go low.

cheers for that. Got another prob also. What do you do when you get repeated phantom bell rings. Presumeably someone nearby has the same bell? is there a way of altering the frequency so that it is different from the neighbours??

Just had the same problem, it started playing a different one each time! We had lost the insrtructions but dad worked it out.

1/ Remove the bell push front from its back plate which will be stuck to your door frame
2/ Remove the the silver circular battery for a few seconds then replace it, this will reset the bell push
3/ Remove the batteries from the speaker unit for a few seconds then replace. You have now reset the wireless connection between the bell push and the speaker.
4/ Select the tune you want using the button on the back of the bell push circuit board.
5/ Replace the bell push front onto its back plate

Voila!

Sorry can't answer this but I couldn't resist saying that I have the same problem. And almost all the chimes are rubbish especially the stupid barking dog.
