"A pressure relief device (PRD) in the shower unit is a safety feature designed to operate if an excessive build up of pressure occurs; a blockage in the sprayplate for example.
In the unlikely event that the PRD activates it will eject water. Switch off the electricity to the shower at the double pole switch and turn off the water supply at the isolating stopvalve.
