Fitting a Plastic Waste pipe into a Cast Iron Waste Stack?

I need to fit a Kitchen Waste pipe into the nearest waste water system which happens to be the cast iron soil pipe.
Please advise on how this can be achieved?
I don't want to replace the cast iron soil pipe with plastic as it would involve replacing the complete waste system from the first floor bathroom and stack.

Answered my own question, I was able to fit the Plastic Waste pipe into a Cast Iron Waste Stack. I used a variable drill at slow speed (aprox 75 revs) with a 64mm Metal Hole cutter purchased from Screw fix and a Metal collar purchased from the Plumb Centre. The job itself was easier than expected, the hole cutter cut a clean hole in the pipe. I then attached the collar, making sure the rubber seal was set in correctly and lubricated with silcone grease, making sure the collar was not over tightened.

Above all planning, good advice (thanks to the Plumb Centre) and peace and quiet (keeping chidren at bay) goes a long way in achieving this job.
