I'm running windows 98SE and i need a driver that works with my newer eView 17f monitor, otherwise i'm stuck in 640x480 with 16 colors!

You need drivers for your video card or your on board
video. Driver goes by chip number and make of that chip.
Monitors don't need drivers. If you're using on board
video it will be north bridge chip usually under your main
cpu.
