No. A dvd rw is a writeable dvd disk a cd rom is the cd reader that reads a disk. If you mean use a cd rom to read the dvd then no you can't do that either you will have to by a dvd reader or for the price of them get a writer which you can pick up for under £20 and then you can use that to burn data to your dvd.
