Hi upon trying to open my upvc door this morning i found that the key turns to open yet the handle was set solid..... i stupidly knocked the handle down with a hammer and i'm pretty sure the mechanism has completely jammed...any ideas as to how to remedy this and which parts are needed,,,,,,,,Thanks

sounds pretty much like you will have broken the multilock gearbox when you only needed a new barrel, this may be one for a locksmith to gain access to edge of door
