I snap the cable of my electric trimer?

I was using my trimer when accidentaly cut the cable..how can I fix it

DON'T bodge it with tape it will become lethal! fitting a new cable is the safest and best way, but make sure you use the Hi-visiblity red or orange cable. I wouldnt even use a branded in-line plug and socket in case you put the wrong end on the live half, but if you must use one, the female end (the bit with the holes in) goes on the supply end and the male end (the one with the pins on) goes on the timmer. Make sure you tighten the cord grip screws so the cable dosn't pull out. Oh and dont forget the RCD plug just in case you do it again.

Your realistic choices are...

Dismantle the handle and either replace the cable or shorten the existing one...

Or

Fit an in-line connector like this one...

(make sure the male pins are on the trimmer side)

Or

Throw it away and buy a new one
