...............Granted im very new to this or any other forum so pls excuse me if my "naievete'" is foolish or what. I was excited to find that someone had posted and moreover got an answer to the pc. of hardware listed above. I was excited because I held that very same model in my hand just then and asked the same q. But the answer......"err. get vicodin........peddle to ???????? What the H___ is this for response.......I was confused .....appaled.........and disappointed cause I wanted to get the blasted thing working?????????anybody got a non offensive and hopefully worthwhile retort?

I have one of these, but haven't the foggiest as to what it is for....unless it makes your TV component receive an IR signal from an IR remote, like when you want to use a remote that is more powerful than the ones that come with your stuff which works off the other type....what is it UV or something or do I have it backward. If you want mine you can have it.
