Hi Mary, I run XP Pro on my CF-27 with no problems.

Generally speaking PCs running W98 do not have sufficient compute power (processor) nor can they be upgraded to enough memory (Minimum 512MBytes) to run WXP.

I would stick to W98 for that machine. If you MUST have XP, then I am afraid you need a new PC.
