How can I fix my Gardenline chainsaw model GPCS-42CC?

I purchased the model aprox 12 months ago and have only used it once or twice for light work. It would appear that the automatic oil pump for lubricating the chain is not working and I would like your help to correct this.

Eddie, did you ever find out how to get a relacement?

I have the same problem. In mine its the nylon worm screw that drives the pump that has stripped its thread. It sits onthe main drive shaft and locates with a steel cog on the oil pump. I'm trying to find out where to get a replacement.

How do you know it's not working and not just blocked?
