bleeding with an allen key which way?

I know that my Riello RD3 boiler needs bleeding, which way do I turn the allen key - clockwise?
Thanks

Before Moving anything, Make sure you have the allen key in the correct plug, it's the one on the Extended hexigon, which faces out from the fuel pump at an angle just above horizontal, put plenty of towel around the plug at the end and turn allen key ANTI CLOCKWISE (to the left) remove the plug completely, oil & froth will trickle out, when oil running clear, replace plug and tighten (opposite direction), run burner and when running check for leaks from the plug.

It would be a good idea to repalce or clean the filter elements in the oil line between the oil tank and the burner, as sludge from the tank may have been drawn through the oil supply system

No, anticlockwise....but if you are turning an allen head both ways, thats the wrong one.....on a Riello pump, the allen bleed screw is on the front of the round end cap.
