I have had this MP player for about 2 years and it has been wonderful. I have never had any problems with it at all until recently. It was working fine and it needed to be recharged so I plugged it in. When it finished charging I unlpugged the power adapter from the wall and the adapter itself was very hot! I did not think too much of it. The next day I went to power on my MP player and it did not want to turn on. It went on with my second try. It still seemed to be working fine after that. Today I turned it on and it went crazy! It started playing a song then it randomly skipped to the next and then the screen totally froze. None of the buttons no longer did anything at all. It was like it was totally dead except for the fact the screen stayed lit up all day until I finally disconnected the battery. I plugged the battery back in and now I cannot get it to power up at all. Please help!

Try to disconnect the battery from the inside. Leave it disconnected for a couple of minutes. then replug and try to turn on. Your battery could be dead, so recharge. a few minutes on the charger should give you enough power for it to come on.
