when i came back from holiday my car battery had died and my stereo came up with insert cod. i put in the wrong thing and it completely shut down. i was told to put it in the fridge to get it to turn back on which worked. it said to insert code again but i don't have this information as i don't have the manual. i have been on numerous unlocking websites but none of them deal with JVC.

Please help, i love this stereo and want it back working!

In Ebay, type in the model number and a listing for a company specialising in unlocking car stereos will come up. They seem to do this model.
Hope this helps if you haven't sorted it yet.
