Replacing the polycarb roof with pilk blue glass on my Wickes Victorian Con?

This is proving difficult - no one seems to know. What's the difficulty?
Robert garwood, July 2009
1) existing polycarb needs to be same thickness
2) will need tie bar/bolster to support extra weight of roof
3)the gaskets on the roof may not be compatable with self cleaning glass
4)may need blocks/brackets to prevent slippage
hope this helps

been out of trade for while now ,know plenty bout pilk k glass ,i take it its a insulated glass which has self clean non smear surface or something like that . wont be problem fitting glass long as its same thickness units as poly carb. toughened ,and insulated pane to inside of conservatory .will need blocks on ends of rafters to stop slippage and get overhaul weight of units to check wether roof can support its weight plus snow loading.
