glow worm swift flow 80 boiler ?

i'v a glow worm swift flow 80 combi boiler which has recently started to make a sqeaking noise from the fan,i think...also can someone tell me is the fan suppose to run continuously?

Yep, fan runs constantly, just the speed ramps up and down.

Don't bother oiling the fan bearings, they fail quickly once they start to sqeak.

Google CET Ltd, they do recon fans for £60 ish, switch everything off, remove outer casing from boiler, disconnect fan conenctions, remove from its casing, remove replacement from its casing and put where old one came from, making sure its properly sealed, job done. Takes 10 mins max.

The fan will run slowly when there is no demand for heating or water and will go to full speed with a demand. It may just need to be cleaned and oiled, get someone qualified to do it.
