I have a MK2 Ford Mondeo which came without a stereo fitted. I've bought a Ford 6000 CD head unit which was from a Ford Puma.

The connections at the back are the same except the middle one. Can anyone tell me what this does?

Hi Lee, as you look at the back of the unit the large plug on the left is the power connections the large plug on the right is the speaker connections the small plug between them is for the steering wheel controls and the 12 pin connector at bottom edge to the left of the power plug is for the CD changer if you want a picture contact me on nige110162(at symbol)hotmail.co.uk
