Anxiously seeking John - Lawnmower Expert etc?

John,

Greetings - I noticed you have failed to respond to my challenging reply to your reply in the Headlight / Horn / Fuse question.

Were you half asleep when you answered it or do you have a sepcial, deep insight that is not available to ordinary folk ? - I think we should be told.

Best regards to you (honestly)

Certainly I appreciate the dry irony of your posts...! J

Thank you very much for your reply - The Pugeot 205 story is really bizarre...

This is a bad place for me to be - it allows me to display all (most) of my worst characteristics of being Opinionated, Challenging, Rude, Obnoxious, outrageously Pompous and, worst of all - invariably wrong.

But I do say thank-you...

Good morning Mr. P
I didn't see the follow up to that particular question, usually there's none anyway and even less chance of a thank you.....
Anyway, being (occasionally) in the motor trade I get all sorts of bizarre electrical faults - for example, if you put a double filiament tail bulb into a single outlet in a Peugeot 205, the fuel gauge rises every time you press the brake pedal and the sidelights come on.....and so it goes on. I find very few problems with burnt wiring really and most faults are due to people fiddling with things they know nothing about or corroded electrical connections, so I have a lead with a crocodile clip at both ends that I automatically reach for if there is a suspected earthing issue...which there often is! Hence my reply.....as before, no follow up though. Regards John
