my dad has givin me a simpson silencio 980 dishwasher
he said it not heating the water I have heard these dishwashers use hot water is this correct our has the heater blown
thankyou jerry for your reply dad has not owned a dishwasher before and gave it to me wasnt sure about the heating system thanks again i will have it fixed

Yes it has a built in heater.It only takes in cold water
and heats it.To check look inside and you can see the
heating element,probably in the bottom.
