When is it time to change a boiler?

I have 59 years old boiler for radiant heating. It's working. I just change the expansion tank due to leak. Do I need to change the boiler? What do I need to find/watch in order to decide it's time to change the boiler?
Thanks

If it's as old as you say it'll be no where near as efficient as a modern boiler and will cost a lot more to run. I would take that into consideration more than just the fact that it's still working.

59 years old?? Must be a record....anyway you only need to change your boiler when it starts leaking and can't be repaired.
