Wirless adapter?

I have and XP sp3 OS, suddenly when I turn on my PC it keep looping in restart. then when I turned of my wirless adapter it was fixed. my question now is how to fix my adapter.

Uninstall the adapter. Reboot. Download the latest drivers from maker's web site. Reinstall the adapter.
