Can anyone please help me. I have a Zanussi Xc washing machine which is only about a year old. The problem is that when I put a load of washing into the machine, items of clothing are disappearing. I know it sounds incredible but its true. So far in the last month alone, I have lost seven socks and 3 pairs of under pants. Its starting to get expensive now replacing all these items. I have looked inside the drum but there is no sign of the items. Does anyone else have this problem ? Can anyone offer any advice ?
I have come to this website in despairation, as Zanussi have been unhelpful, consistantly denying there is even a problem.

Sherlock, it sounds as if the clothes are small and quite possibly still stuck (although mangled) under the base of the agitator. Either that or your spouse is sending you a message.
