where is the fuse in my hoover front loading washing machine?

My washing machine (hoover model 1100f) recently caused the electrical mains fuse to trip. Have reset the fuse but now the washing machine shows no sign of life. (lights or action). How can I find the fuse in the washing machine please?

Seeking fuse location in Hoover 1100f (or similar) front loading Aussie built washing machine
Thanks for that brilliance Brian, took me on a googling trip to discover that the plug type you are referring to, eg. http://www.ultimatehandyman.co.uk/elecplug.jpg
Leads me to add to my question that i'm referring to Aussie conditions, the plug has No fuse. No Aussie plugs have fuses that i'm aware of (have pulled Many apart)

solid moulded pvc. Unpullapartable. Fuses here are located in the system after the plug.
Have looked thru the loom, and no sign of it. No sign of it from the rear view of the controller box. I know i could just start pulling bits off, but am reluctant to do more than necessary. (Murphy Lurks!) Cheers folk.

obviously not a plug expert either. the main indication that theres a fuse in the plug is it needs one to work

thanks for your quick reply Pete. Have looked at the plug, it appears to be a standard solid moulded plug, nothing to indicate it contains a fuse. The power outlet to machine has been tested and works fine. I am not a washing machine expert, but find it hard to believe that there would be no fuse in the system somewhere. Suggestions please anybody?

Hi,

To my knowledege there is no internal fuse only the one in the PLUG.

Try another allpiance in the same socket to see if it is the washing maching or the socket.

If it is the socket you should get Pro advice.
