Re searching for washing machine fuse?

thanks for your quick reply Pete. Have looked at the plug, it appears to be a standard solid moulded plug, nothing to indicate it contains a fuse. The power outlet to machine has been tested and works fine. I am not a washing machine expert, but find it hard to believe that there would be no fuse in the system somewhere. Suggestions please anybody?

In the UK moulded appliance plugs have a fuse in a holder that's underneath - the appliance will certainly be fused and if there's a fuse in the plug there is no need for the manufacturer to put one in the machine. I don't know how applainces are fused in countries where the plug has no fuse in it but would assume a fuse holder on the back panel.
