My machine reports the above error code in it's display, what does this mean & how can I fix it?

Any help much appreciated.

It turns out that the error is caused by the electronics at the top of the machine not being able to communicate with the ones at the bottom.

The error is often occasional, but in my case became constant.

In the end I had to get the engineer out (cost about £90) and had about £200 of parts changed which were covered by the 5 year warranty.

I have the same problem. F-12 error. Sometimes I can get past it by just switching the damn thing off then on again if the error occurs at the start of the wash. Other times it happens when the machine is full of water then I have to drain it and start again. Any ideas how to fix this?
