Can I still repair the 110 blender if I plugged it in a 220 volt?

If the blender has is 110, and I plugged it in a 220 volt, can it still be repaired? It's a Kitchen aid blender model number Ksb5wh4.

Yes you can ??? probably.

The motor will likely need to be replaced and the cost of a new motor, shipping & labour may make it not worth it in comparison to a replacement machine.

The motor windings will have taken double the current - if there's a fuse check it first - it may have blown before the motor windings were damaged - let's hope so.

Good luck...
