how can i fix my I9+ phone?

I bought this phone from hong kong via ebay. I've had it a week and clumsily cracked the outer screen. Now the screen memo slides but i cannot select anything. If I find someone that sells the outer screen will it allow me to select an option or will the cracked screen have broken the phone altogether? Also does anyone know where i will be able to get a screen for the I9+ modelfromhong knog? I have been told by shops the screen isn't the same as the english I phone??

youcan buy the screens on ebay for about 4 pounds for 2 of them ..aslong as you can solder a bit then all you need to do is solder 4 wires ..
an breaking the sceen WOULD have an effect on the operaration of the phone as the touch screen isnt working properly

Breaking the "outer screen" (the lens) shouldn't have any effect on the operaration of the handset.
Generally speaking you can't buy components for mobile phones, you'd have to buy a new one.
