How do I wind the bobbin on m Singer sewing machine?

I have a Singer sewing machine, Creative Touch, 1030, that I cannot find the instructions for winding thread on an empty bobbin. It is an older Creative Touch 1030. I have not used this machine for several years, and cannot remember the process to wind the thread on an empty bobbin. I have no trouble sewing, using another bobbin already with thread on it. Sure would like to hear from someone. I have lost the instruction book that came with it. Thanks for any help.

Hello Elizabeth,
I take it your machine is a self wind bobbin, thread the machine as normal all the way and through the needle, make sure you have selected straight stitch and the presser foot is up, open the slide plate and push the lever over to raise the winder, wind the thread round the presser foot screw to take a grip and press on the foot control lightly until you have enough thread, close the slide plate and pull the thread to the back of the machine and sew.
