Display on Dyson cR01 is unreadable and washing machine does not work?

Hi all- wondering if someone out there could help out with these two problems:
1. The letters on the lcd display are so garbled, that I cannot decipher/read anything from it.
2. More importantly the washing machine does not work, in the sense that it will commence with a cycle, I hear the water running into the soap compartment, then the machine makes some attempt at wanting to spin, but does not and then after about five minutes the whole process is over, but it does not unlock the door.
Does anyone have a solution for this? Looking forward to reading your replies. best wishes,

The display is a common fault being garbled particularly if the machine is in a cold environment. The display board will need to be changes these are about £100 from eSpares but machine will work fine without being swapped.
The fault you have with sounds like the F11 fault which relates to a fuse blown on the power pcb. Most cases the machine works OK after the fuse has been changed ( simple job ).
