My Matsui MWM145W washing machine stops during all washing cycles and the lights start flashing on the machine. Has anyone had this problem? if so what was done to fix it or what is the problem with it?

Unscrewed the water pump and removed hoses and found the blockage.
All is good now.

I have a very simular problem with the same washing machine,but the problem is with the pump.I clean the filter regularly but it still not pumping the water away,and the machine stop washing,and the lights start flashing.maybe its just old age?mind,its only 4 years old!

Just had the same problem, luckily i managed to fix it by unscrewing the ?filter? which is located at the bottom front of the machine behind a panel and removing some scum and a ring pull which has jammed in there. Be warned though unscrewing the filter causes a LOT of water to come out and you will flood your house out if not prepared.

i've just had the exact same problem, when the engineer came out he said that there was nothing wrong with the machine! he said my drainage was backed up where the drain pipe from the machine connects under the sink. funnily enough when the machine goes through the start of the cycle it drains fine until it gets to a certain point then freezes, so i think i was fed a load of bull. i think its a machine fault somewhere!!!
