How to fix a Dishlex 302 dishwasher with fault # 10?

My Dishlex 302 dishwasher keeps coming up with a fault # 10. It starts a cycle and then after 2-3 minutes beeps and diplays the number 10 on the LED. I have just replaced the control board as they have a common fault and will not heat up, now this problem has occurred. It seems like it is not taking enough water in and I have checked the hose and it seems fine. Any help please?

Fault code 10 is when machine is not filling. If you have checked tap is on & hose is not blocked then either the water valve is faulty or the control board is faulty & not turning water valve on. You need a multimeter to test. Put on ohms range & test across the two terminals of the inlet valve for a possible open circuit. Disconnect the wires first. If ok then put on AC volts range & see if power is going to inlet valve. If not then control board is the problem.
